HueMan is an AI stand-in on your Android phone. It can answer a call, flag a piece of mail, draft a reply, or line up an appointment — and then it stops. You see the action, including the words it will use, and nothing runs until you approve it. One action at a time.
Sample data, from the app. Names and 555 numbers are examples.
It waits on the work you already get.
HueMan is for someone who wants help with the calls and mail that actually show up — a clinic, a pharmacy, a utility, a number they don’t know — and wants the assistant to stop where they haven’t said yes.
01
Calls
HueMan answers only after you allow it for that call. You see the number it would use, and who is calling, before it greets anyone or takes a message.
After the call you get a summary: what they wanted, what HueMan did not share, and what it refused to decide. A call back or a draft note is proposed next. Each of those waits for its own approval.
02
Email
HueMan can watch for important mail. The setting says flags only, and alerts need your approval. A reply or a letter stays a draft until you start it.
On the sample home screen, a lease-renewal alert and a letter to a utility company are sitting in the queue. They have not been sent.
03
Appointments
Confirmations and open times wait for you. Open times are shared only after you approve them, and only for that call.
Medical scheduling needs a separate, explicit yes. HueMan does not agree to a procedure or treatment. If the office offers a new time, it asks you again before agreeing.
One action
See what it will say first.
Before HueMan places a call, the sheet shows who it will dial, the words it will use, and what it will not do. It does not dial until you tap Approve.
“Hi, this is Mikal’s AI assistant. I’m calling to confirm his Thursday 10:30 AM appointment.”
Under that, the sample sheet lists what it will not do:
Make medical decisions
Agree to procedures
Pay anything
Medical scheduling needs a separate yes. If the office offers a new time, HueMan will ask you again before agreeing. A procedure question is saved for you. HueMan does not decide it.
You can decline, edit, or approve that one action. There is a checkbox if you want open times shared on this call. Approving runs only this action. The next one waits.
The sample home screen puts it plainly: three actions waiting, and HueMan has done nothing on its own.
The approval sheet. Sample data.
Core safety rules stay on.
The guardrails screen says these rules can’t be bypassed by callers. They are marked always on.
Always on
Approve every action
Each call, text, email, and booking waits for you, one at a time.
Always on
No purchases unless you ask
Blocks payments, bookings, and card requests from callers. In the sample activity log, a card charge is blocked by a guardrail.
Always on
No major medical decisions
Never agrees to procedures or treatment.
Always on
Separate yes for medical scheduling
Extra confirmation for any doctor appointment.
Settings you can change
On the sample screen these are switches, not locks. What you see below is the choice, not a promise that every phone is set the same way.
Your switch
Say it is your AI assistant
Disclose at the start of a call. The sample phrases it as “I’m Mikal’s AI assistant.”
Your switch
Let the AI answer calls
It still asks you for each call.
Your switch
Watch email for important mail
Flags only. Alerts need approval.

Web browsing
Marked coming later on the guardrails screen. HueMan does not browse the web for you now.
You choose what it may share. Every decision is logged.
HueMan can remember facts and use them on calls. You control every one. A fact is share, or never share. In the sample, a doctor’s name and a best callback time are marked share. A home address and an insurance member ID are on file and set to never share.
When a call turns up something new, HueMan proposes it. The sample asks you to save “Pharmacy: Sample Pharmacy, (555) 010-7781,” heard on that morning’s call. It is not used until you approve it. You can decline or edit it instead.
The activity log is the record of what HueMan did and who approved it. Sample lines include a call you approved, a card charge blocked by a guardrail, a text alert still waiting, a reply you declined, and a notice that you were told. The screen says nothing appears as done until you approve it.
